I am giving away approximately (10) Gmail accounts to the first people who post here whom I deem worthy of giving it to.
First preference will be give to: 1. People who deserve it. 2. People who want it really bad. 3. People who have helped me out in the past. For those who dont know, Gmail is the free webmail service from the folks at Google who are giving away 1Gb of mail storage with the account. To be chosen, you must post here with a simple statement on why you want it. As soon as I get more invites I will give them away. Sorry for making it sound like something really special, I was just tired of everyone else doing all of the other cool sounding giveaways  ****edit to add a buttload of invites**** |

it took me almost a month to get invites.
i think they put a moratorium on them for a while when a-holes started selling them on e-gay. okay, im going to let this run for 24 hours to build suspense and then i will contact the winner for his/her email to send the invite to.i also sent myself a few of the invites so i could "grow a gmail garden" so to speak and give out even more invites as well as register cool gmail names. |

mini thread hijack here, but WTH is the deal with gmail anyway?
I've seen alot of posts on various forums lately regarding gmail invites, but nobody ever talks about what the goddamned things are good for. what is so special about them? Yes I know google is my friend, but im lazy. |

gmail invites are referrals to the invitation only beta of the Gmail service whic offers an awesome interface for webmail and offers one Gb of mail storage. when the invites first came out, some retards were paying $500 for them on epay. i bought mine for a dollar and have been waiting ever since to get invites in my inbox to give out to other folks. google intended this to be a good way of spreading the news around and yet at the same time limiting its userbase while the thing is still in beta testing. -colin |

I did a test last night.
After posting in this thread I sent an email to my gmail account from my ISP account asking "do you have an Gmail invitations? I'd like to create a Gmail account". This morning I had six invitations to give away. I've had my account for six days. |

I would love to have one of those Gmail accounts so that I could actually receive e-mails. My IMs and e-mails runneth over, I am afraid, and lordtrader is always trying to smack me over the head with that fact!

I could use a GMail account pretty badly, I have/had a hotmail account but they are about to try and rebill me 29 bucks for something Gmail is giving away right now.
