I came to the conclusion that the only thing the SKS needed was a 1" thick recoil pad.
I tried and tossed just about every other accessory. |

The only mod to my "beater" Yugo is a Leapers scope mount and a BSA Red Dot. Lots of fun and still leaves the iron sights clear.
My "safe queen" SKS is a virgin when it comes to addons and changes and it's going to stay that way.

I'm a big fan of the dragunov esque "fiberforce" stock for the SKS, makes the lenght of pull just right and feels pretty nice. where the forearm meets the upper handguard looks kinda cheezy, but overall I like it far better than the factory stock.
