(well, other than the female body, which is teh pinnacle of God's creation. At least until Rosie O came screaming out the womb.)

I'm thinking about the outside world, and 'tings o' beauty.

Like this..

All of those are done with canon powershot a70 3.2mp camera, some were done in normal macro mode, but the really close ups were done with hoya close-up lenses(+7, 1+2+4).

One of my favorite works of art is Walter De Maria's "Lightning Field".
He took a square mile of desert and covered it with 40 foot high, stainless steel rods.
I know many of you don't care for "Modern", "Minimalist", or "Post-Modern" art....
....but look at the results.
Pretty cool.

Cincinnatus -

Makes ya wonder if we couldn't harness / store that energy from lightning strikes on a field of lightning rods.

Perfect predators. No evolution in several million years. I think they are some of the most beautiful living things residing in the everglades.

They taste good too [:)]

The red line I drew in is the approximate height of a normal human being.  This waterfall is somewhere in West Virginia, I can't remember where.

EDITED:

Here's some pictures of my sister, showing scale:

Here's another waterfall, this one underground.  It's the Ruby waterfall, in a cave in Rock City, Tennessee.  As you can see, I took four pictures from the same position and put them together on the computer.

BTW, the pictures above and below were taken with an old but very nice manual 35mm camera.
