uh oh, you just opened a can of worms!
i have taken over 3300 photos in the 2 weeks since I got my new digicam. [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/bee.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/bug.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/caterpillar.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/drip-03.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/flower-03.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/flowers-01.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/lunch.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/waterdroplets.jpg[/url] [url]http://000buck.d2g.com/photography/wierdplant.jpg[/url] All of those are done with canon powershot a70 3.2mp camera, some were done in normal macro mode, but the really close ups were done with hoya close-up lenses(+7, 1+2+4). |

Sweet legs! I am waiting for some here in cali...I see maybe 2 storms a year that produce lighting :(. or I would have some by now.
what is your setup for that, exposure, fstop, film(or iso equivalent in digicam)? |

One of my favorite works of art is Walter De Maria's "Lightning Field".
He took a square mile of desert and covered it with 40 foot high, stainless steel rods. I know many of you don't care for "Modern", "Minimalist", or "Post-Modern" art.... ....but look at the results. Here's another waterfall, this one underground. It's the Ruby waterfall, in a cave in Rock City, Tennessee. As you can see, I took four pictures from the same position and put them together on the computer.
