Depends on what you are wanting. They have a pretty good rep for turning out protection specialists. But if you are just wanting general training on specific topics (handgun, driving, etc) you can get better deals elsewhere.

What are the requirements in most states for practicing as a personal protection specialist? Do you have to be a licensed PI?

You have to be a licensed PPO, Personal Protection Officer, in Texas. A former Recon bubba buddy of mine got sent through a training program and got his PPO license to be a bodyguard for Ross Perot.

This guy is very knowledgeable, a great teacher, and a very nice guy. I highly recommend this school!!
