One time in Korea I was in this big brawl with some Koreans. The Town Patrol arrived and yelled for us to stop. I immediately raised my hands and said "I am not fighting" knowing the consequence was big. The Korean I was hitting raised his hands and said the same thing. I almost laughed at his accent, but we both know we faced charges. I then said" I love him" and again he said the same thing. Everyone said it too. We turned and walked off like good friends and they let us. I still don't believe it worked except I was a fairly high ranked NCO at the time.
Always remember your situation. What is perceived may save you or ruin you. Peace Officer Faces Murder Charge, Questions Over AR-15 Dust Cover Attorneys for the victim, Daniel Shaver, argued Brailsford was malicious during the shooting and raised questions about the gun used.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said Shaver was on his hands and knees when Brailsford shot him five times inside a Mesa hotel. The gun used was a personal AR-15 assault weapon that had been approved for service use by the Mesa Police Department. However, Mesa police noted that their investigation of the shooting turned up a vulgar inscription on the rifle that doesn’t meet department policy. “Inscripted on the officer’s gun, and I hate to use profanity, but it said, “you’re f*****,”’ Laney Sweet, Daniel Shaver’s wife said. |

Bet that didn't help either. Personally I don't care for the messages and billboards on my rifles. Though, I can see where if you shoot an unarmed person five times once they surrendered such a message could be indicative of a certain disregard for life. |

We went through some "perception" at work.
As long as the managers were "perceiving" that we had issues everything was cool. However, if you turned it around on them and told them you were perceiving things about the way they treated people, or the way they did your job, you were up shit creek. Turns out only higher ups can perceive correctly. The rest of us are just wrong. One more reason retirement is so great. |

I am not judging the incident. Maybe the suspect was a large physically fit male fixing to disarm the officer, who knows. That is for the jury to decide. The cool add-on to his personal duty AR-15 is what may change his life from a LEO into a murderer.
Sometimes we need to look past ourselves Sorry about the dupe. I had surgery and I am still on pain meds. I am not responsible. |

Lol funny story, OP.
Once in college the cops were called on us for some antics but the lady who called was bein a bitch and wouldn't get out of the driveway. Well, we can't have that! So I called the cops to report a creepy lady in the area. 2 cops arrived, one with each story, nothing could corroborated so it all got dropped. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
