Some guy who started as as bag boy I for them - I think - is the new CEO.   He is moving the company HQ to cranberry twp to get away from allegheny county taxes.

Interesting. I know someone who knows the leftist that was CEO. Didn't know she was gone.

They were also real mask nazis during COVID in my area.

I have a friend who still works there and I used to shoot local 3 gun with Bob and your...cousin?  Or some relation.

Also looks like we need to dust off the snow shovels and blowers this weekend!

Never been to Ferris, will give it a try.

My in-laws love Highbridge House and said since they bought Pappy's its way better.  I was there many years ago and it was bad.

Y knot is fun, need to find the quad trail there instead of taking surface streets.....

Ferris in Moscow is old forge style, their hot wing pizza is great but messy and expensive. My best friends wife works at high bridge. As far as trails go they are right behind the y knot. My neighbor and I ride there all the time

You could probably ride on Rt435 South from the Drinker Highway crossover up to Rt348 now that the Elmhurst exit is closed.

What a total pain in the dick to take 380 and 84 to the Mount Cobb exit to get back to Wayne County.

There isn't much wiggle room with the jersey barriers by the new flyover and bridge.

HUGE pain the dick.  I needed to get many, many truckloads of fill to my property and it was a race against the clock to get them before road closed.

Time for a good ol' "will it, won't it" snowmageddopoclypse. I'm betting next to nothing but hoping for a lot. Like usual the freezing line will track west and eastern counties will get almost nothing.

WBRE is calling for 6-8+ for Wayne County,  of course subject to change.

If it's going to snow,  Saturday night into Sunday is the best time IMHO.

I don't have to get up extra early to shovel and snow blow before work.

I just shoveled somewhere between two and three inches of snow.
As I shoveled I was rained on.
Accuweather.com says it's 34º outside (as I type this), so I don't think I'll get more accumulation.
Naughty winds out there.  Accuweather says it feels like 20º.
Believe it.

Just made it in to work, nightmare drive. Settled in for a long night at the power plant.

78 was terrible, no f'n plows out and single lane. Secondary roads (local plowing) a little better.

Retards on the roads, one idiot went in a ditch leaving a mcdonalds and lost it right in front of me. Seriously, stay home and off the roads if you don't need to.

Worked in Towanda a couple of years, loved the area, except for the couple of winter months when it snowed. Lot of treacherous roads to plow and take care of.

I do miss it though.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17th, the Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee will have a hearing on 7 anti-gun bills.

We need you to contact your State Representative and urge them to kill these bills in committee!

Here are the anti-gun bills

We need you to contact your State Representative and urge them to kill these bills in committee!

Here are the anti-gun bills:

HB 335: a ban on bump stocks
HB 336: a ban on semi-auto firearms
HB 483: creates a taxpayer-funded “Gun Violence Task Force” to further the anti-gun narrative
HB 777: restricts privately made firearms
HB 1157: adds “mental health” gun control measures; giving a psychiatrist the ability to take away gun rights without due process
HB 1190: bans homemade firearms
HB 1859: increases penalties for having a weapon under disability
These bills will be heard in committee tomorrow, but there is a good chance they will get a full floor vote in the House if they’re not stopped immediately

The way the Committee's are stacked now, this will definitely make it to the floor. Not sure how that will work out, since the house is pretty much split 50/50 right now, because i think the Democrats are short one seat last i heard, and,  this proposed Bill will never see the light of day in the Senate. For now. Thank God.

Yes from what I remember Chairman Kaufman saif so long as he held the seat PA would see NO NEW
gun control laws.

Problem is that was around 2014 or 15 and no has the position forever.

Incedently that was a email from GOA kinda late yesterday.
So either it was being snu k,through last minute or they were behind on their info.

Kinda saw it as a non-event so didn't spam it all over the net.
But I also didn't see it anywhere else but the GOA email either.

The snowdrops are about to bloom in Warren.

Have any areas of the state had a real winter?

We're well below 50% of our average snowfall at my house.  Two years in a row like this.  The year before that was low, as well, but not like this year or last year.
