Anyone have experience with high cholesterol levels and paleo.  I got fairly lean after 9 months of Crossfit and Paleo but was trying to get back in the Army Guard and MEPS said is was permanently DQ'ed but was able to get a waiver.

I loved the Paleo and was very easy for me.  I probably did not eat enough fruit but did eat lots of veggies.  All meat was definitely not grass fed, to high dollar for me.

I'm off paleo now, still doing Crossfit and stepped up the running (about 20 miles a week)  but the fat is reattaching itself to my body.  HELP!

I've done low carb before, and I think the vast majority of blood cholesterol problems are genetic, not dietary. Your body absorbs what it thinks it needs, and flushes what it doesn't. If your body mistakenly thinks you need to absorb more cholesterol, it will... this is just my opinion of course.

Runs in my family, but you should read this stuff to see why your actual numbers may not be as important as you think.

Dietary cholesterol doesn't have to do as much with blood cholesterol as we once thought...

ETA- if you don't get grassfed meat you should supplement with fish oil.

6-10 eggs per day and a lb of chicken or beef and no cholesterol problems.  Must be hereditary.

This.  Not sure what you're asking.  You want us to fix the non-existent diet that you posted after you admittedly stopped eating healthy or the cholesterol levels that we know nothing about or when you had them tested.

Not trying to be a raging dick, but a semi-dick.  Not sure what you want us to help with.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I am a fat fuck, but you said you had a good diet then stopped that diet and are now getting fat.

I don't see where you need advice.

"so I was eating healthy and I was trim. Then I stopped eating healthy and got fat. What should I do?!?!"

I'm looking for help with staying on Paleo without the higher levels of cholesterol.  My LDL/HDL ratios were excellent, the problem is my total numbers are to high.

I would like to stay on Paleo but need lower "Government acceptable" standard numbers.

Doable.  Some of us have a stronger cholesterol reaction than others.  You need to eat less saturated fat and more monounsaturated fat to get there.  More egg whites - still eat some yolks, but not 5 yolks/day - more cold water fish, and more high-fiber vegetables.
