Just read a column in Autoweek suggesting that every car approved in a G7 country should be eligible for sale here.

Ain't freedom grand?

Damn, I was going to get one of those too.

All kidding aside, more laws suck.

For this one- maybe. For all of the other cars that are available in Europe or Japan, that aren't available here, there are a ton of people disappointed. I'm sure many Arfcommers would like (and be able to purchase) a Nissan Skyline, diesel Golf, or Hi-Lux pickup.

Meh, a $20k super bike would be more thrilling.

If you have enough money to buy one, you have more than enough to bribe it's way in.

Yes, but this one was in the news today. I like to point out government stupidity at every opportunity, not just once.

Pffft that not even EPA regulations stopped Bill Gates or Jerry Seinfeld from owning a Porsche 959 illegally. People with that kind of money will make it happen regardless of the what the government says.

I loved the 959!

I have a Swarovski Crystal 959 that my wife (GF then) bought me for a bday present!

You think people don't wear seatbelts now, just imagine 5 point harnesses and helmets.
