[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PST file reader

I need a email program that I can use to access and search a .pst file and attachments made by Microsoft Outlook but is not Microsoft Outlook. I'm open to using Linux or Windows. What do you guys recommend?

There may be trial versions of Outlook available if licensing is the issue.

Otherwise Thunderbird seems to have some plugins that might be able to do it if given a PST file.

I am going to try thunderbird. Licensing is the issue as I am looking for a free solution.
