Forgive me if this has been covered here before but: Recently my colombian friend was over my house and saw my POW MIA flag. She asked what it stood for. To tell you the truth I had nearly forgotten I had it, its one of those things that after its been around for awhile you don't notice it. I bought it when I first graduated HS because I "thought it was cool " and it has moved with me through the years. I have never been in the military and I now wonder what veterans think of them? Are they a good remebrance of those who suffered so much or are they tacky and trite from overuse? Poll inbound. |
