I keep hearing about frames per second (FPS) in regard to video cards - good ones vs bad ones.  My question is how can I measure what my PC's FPS is?  Is there a progam/utility I can run to check and see the status on my PC.

Thanks in advance for the answer!

Check C-Net to see if there is a utility program. Otherwise individual games usually have a fps command.

Alot of games usually have a command that you can enter so that you can see what kind of FPS you are getting. A holdover from the game development.
