I'm sorry, but if you aren't wearing skinny jeans and bannging some 20 year old hipster why would you buy this? And on that note if you are wearing skinny jeans, why the hell are you in this forum... |

embed not working for me |

It's just beer. Most adult men who live in a region that has PBR will have had many a can and few kegs.
The fact that goofy hipsters like it does not make it non-beer. A beer is a beer is a beer. If that THEY drink it makes you NOT drink it, THAT makes you a reactionary to the Hipsters. That's just another form of Hipster (because you care enough to pay attention to what they do and think). |

Just threw a whole case of it in the trash, along with my Sweetwater...
Stupid new Road Atlanta rules. Stupid trooper picking us out of the line for a beer check. Stupid Miller Lite, which is all they had for sale inside... (Sweetwater was mine, PBR was a friend's) |

| Growing up in Milwaukee, with my grandfather working for Pabst, its what we drank. That and Schlitz. I don't drink it to be cool or hip, but more on tradition and thats its actually an American owned company. Like anything else, over time it will become "un cool" again and soon the hipster crowd will move on to something else to wreck. .....fucking beatnicks. |

PBR was my beer of choice my freshman year in college, in 1978-79. And I'm not now, and never was, a hipster. LC This... Except that was when I was a senior in college. I drank it for quite a while after that. I also used to drink PBR's cheaper brother, Red, White, and Blue. |
| I used to be a beer snob and looked down upon anyone who didn't drink Sierra Nevada or another boutique beer. Growing up in Milwaukee also had a big influence and my beers of choice and I have come full circle and enjoy Pabst all the time. Last night as a matter of fact I switched up between Schlitz "Tall Boys" and Flying Dog IPA. |

I wear skinny jeans. So what? ![]() So your sister's pissed you steal her clothes. This isn't about your poor clothing choices though, this is about cheap beer. Yuengling seemed to flirt with hipster chic for a while, but PBR won out. I'm glad. I like Yuengling. |

Anywho, I enjoy Shiner. I have never tried Yuengling. |

Sigh... I was hoping for a thread on this PBR: http://sadefensejournal.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/riverine2.jpg Me too dammit! Too add to the hipsterness - had a can of PBR recently at a hip restaurant recently. It was $1 PBR happy hour. Not bad, plus brought a tear to my eyes as I spent many hours sitting with my dad while he drank PBR and we watched All in the Family and Get Smart in the 70s. My cheap beer these days is Shiner though. |
