Paypal has frozen my account because someone sent me money and included the words benelli M1 in the notes. The purchase that was made had nothing to do with any website or e-bay and all laws were followed. Paypal however is so against the firearms industry that they search for words that they consider offensive and close your account. Needless to say I am not a fan of Paypal ebay or the california governor candidate Meg Whitman.

I don't use paypal, mostly due to their anti-gun stance, but also because of this very type of thing.

Fuck 'em.

Please try GUNPAL.NET for online transactions, they donate to progun causes and can accept all major c.c.'s.  Paypal can go to hell!!!

BTW, thanks for this thread, it reminded me to transfer the vast majority of Ppal funds out of there to a bank account.

I sell on eBay so I don't have much choice. The few times I've used it for guns, I never let anyone just send me money, I always send a money request so I control what the invoice says.

Don't use paypal they are not a bank, and have no FDIC insurance. They are a straight up for profit
escrow. That will fuck you out of your money at the first chance. I lost 400 to them

So you're saying that you sold someone a Benelli M1 part in blatant violation of the rules you agreed to when you signed up for Paypal and now you're crying about them enforcing those rules?  I love the way people try to spin their crimes with stuff like "(t)he purchase that was made had nothing to do with any website or e-bay and all laws were followed."  eBay?  Laws?  Who said anything about that?  What about the Paypal rules you violated?  Cry me a river....
