I have a Vortex strike fire on my Bushmaster now and my buddy wants to trade a Bushnell Holo Sight for my Vortex. I know the Bushnell Holo sights are made in America but I do not know whether I should keep my optic I have now or trade. Does anyone know much about the Bushnell Holo Sight and whether it would be a good trade or not?

I would stay with the Strike Fire. No way Bushnell will be able to compare with Vortex when/if you need customer service. Vortex is a great bunch of guys to work with.

You do know that that Bushnell is basically a civilian version of the Eotech, and is actually made by Eotech, right?

You'll have to decide that for yourself.

However, it's probably worth more than the StrikeFire, which might be important if you ever try to sell it.
