I have a knife in my pocket, and the clip is clearly visible.
Does that count?

Yes. I'm thinking about buying one of these though to conceal IWB.

I wear a knife on my belt sometimes if that's what you mean...most of the time I just have a folder clipped to my pocket...not concealed.

Yes, but no large fixed blade. Today im carrying a cold steel karambit and a voyager. The karambit isn't for any utility besides retaining my weapon, the voyager is my work horse. I'd like a really high quality fixed blade that will only be used as a defensive weapon, the busse fits the bill.

WOW! That knife would make a heck of a retention device!
You could literally "cut them off your gun".
