I got most of mine off of ebay. This guy Purse of the Legionary and  This guy I have bought from a few others. I like to get the crusty coins that are totally encrusted. I use electrolysis on them and have gotten some wonderful coins. You will get a lot of crap too! Even got a silver denarius once. The bigger coins are usually early empire and will have the better known emperors. The smaller they get the "newer' they will be usually. One big thing to look for when buying a cleaned coin off of ebay is to look at the weight of the coin. Go to Vcoins.com and cross reference the coin you want to buy with one that is on there. If the weight is off quite a bit it might be a forgery. Another thing to look at is the edge of the coin. If there are creases running along the rim it is indicitive of a cast coin and not a struck one. They will also ring like a bell when struck if real. A cast coin with thud. I would find a coin shop in your area and see if they have any. Most usually do!
