It still amazes me that in the Socialist, molly-coddled, milque-toast, safety-everything European countries, racing is still done with no barriers, not tape, and people right on the sides of the roads....

Hell of a strong car....

Another along those same lines:

media.putfile.com/WRX--Sti--Rally--crash--and--flips

I can't decide which car gets more rotations.

Holy Smokes!!!!

He gets some awesome air! Much better than the WRX vid. Sorry Gonzo.

But the WRX vid gets extra points because the headlight disintegrates but stays on.

BTW, is there any way to save vids from Putfile? I'm on dialup and if I'm going to put in the time to download a vid I'd like to save it if its a good one.

If you're using Firefox and you have disabled your media plugins, this will work:

Right click anywhere in the video display area.  Click on Properties.  Select and Copy the text in the "Location" field.  Click Cancel.  Paste the text into your browser's address line and press Enter.  A box will pop up.  Select "Save to Disk" and click OK.  Browse to the folder of your choice and click OK.

If you haven't disabled the plugins and your default media player pops up and starts playing the file at some point, just go the File menu on the player and find the "Save As" option.

That had to be really painful for the passenger. At least the drivers helmet would have smashed into the door when they nailed that ditch going sideways (before the flip) and stoped his head from whipping like mad.
