I've never been able to shoot the shiney orb. I usually get a real bad case of scope eye before I can pull the trigger!

OH MAN!!! Just went to Realtor.com and saw my childhood home up for sale... How FUCKING DEPRESSING... took the "Virtual Tour" of the place and MAN it was deeeeeeepressing!!!
What I found funny was that one day I sat on our heater and I broke the cover (wood) so I made a makeshift filler strip to support it just so my dad wouldnt kick my ass... The pics of the virtual tour show the heater cover with that hunk of wood I nailed in place...  Boy I used to fix stuff real good when I was a teenager too!!! But MAN the memories that came back to me.... My parents bought that home in 1972 for 50,000 and now its for sale 800,000!!!

When we were going out to Denver my wife wanted to stop to look at the house she grew up in. She had talked it up for years, how big it was, how it had a big brick fence around it, this that and the other... So we swing off the Interstate as its on the say and drive down a little ways to this town and she gets us to the house..... Needless to say, I laughed and gave her a hard time for the next hour about that "big" house. Sometimes, childhood memories are best left as they are..... |
