[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Official Buffalo @ Cleveland Thread (Page 1 of 2)

Because a game that you need the NFL Network for, deserves an official thread. And surely, there's like three people here (maybe less!) who care. ![]() They're both 2-2, neither one is really all that great, I've got Southern Tier 4X IPA on hand for the first half, followed by Victory Hop Devil for the second half. Legions of Cleveland haters basked in the glow of our humiliating and rather predictable defeat at Progressive Field, last night. Can we garner more sympathy than upstate New York? I doubt it. Like a battered wife in East Cleveland, I keep coming back to my boo. Let's do this.

Quoted: Is it me, or is this ramped up even more than October last year? Quoted: Quoted: All the players wearing pink towels, refs using pink penalty flags. Real bright move, NFL. ETA: Even the first down markers are pink. How much did this cost? Bet the cancer research centers wish they would have just donated all that money.

Quoted: That's what I love about this game. Two fanbases going "Fuck it, we're gonna lose". Quoted: Quoted: I'm from and posting from Buffalo, I have a Victory Storm King in hand, and I have 0 faith in Buffalo ![]() If they could both find a way to blow this game they would. Wonder if they can tie?

Quoted: No one is actually watching this are they? I am used to getting my heart ripped out. Of course, there are a few teams in the NFL that would love to have lost 4 Super Bowls in a row. The Browns are one of them.

Quoted: I still have it paused (I paused it just after the Buffalo TD, on their first possession). Quoted: Quoted: Weeden is in. Game is over. This means I have some spectacularly shitty play to watch, until I'm caught back up. |
|
Quoted: Don't feel too bad about The Tribe, Sub. They gave us an exciting finish that nobody ever expected. I never held hope that they would get to the ALCS anyway. |

I'm alright with it. They did better than any reasonable person thought they would. I'm happy with one post season game, considering. Quoted:

I haven't paid to see a live MLB game since ARod got his first big contract in Texas. 250 million so I can pay 5 bucks for a fucking hot dog? Fuck that shit. I go to The Aeros though. |

Despite Weeden trying to prove something tonight (and thank God he's doing that), I'm still throwing in with Hoyer. Quoted:

Weeden is in. Game is over. What happened ro Hoyer The Destroyer? I saw Hoyer play here last season,I honestly think he could be very good.Being good friends with Tom Brady can't hurt either. |

Cleveland is one of those teams that just can't catch a break. I'd be fine with them having a little success. Buffalo? Nope

We used to make regular trips to the Reds games when they did the fireworks shows after the game (which I believe they now do every Friday home game). They were damn good, and we always ate dinner on the way there and bought seats in the nosebleed section, so it was never a big expenditure. |
