I'm ready to have to roll my sleeves down and button the wrists.

I mean I'll wear a long sleeve as an actual long sleeve when it's cooler.

County is finally here to fix the sidewalk where it crosses our drive. We have to park any vehicle we need to use on the street until at least Friday. I am not happy about this, but at least we won't have to worry about scraping cars any more.

so last week monday we came home to this weird minivan with blacked out windows parked in front of our house, ideling with 2 guys in the front and at lease 2 in the back.
Could see that at least on of the guys in back had binos and was looking out the rear window occosionally. Wife called the non emergency line after we had been home for a couple hours and they hadnt moved. Non emergency dispatcher said that they were "aware" of the vehicle and that it was no threat to us. This struck me as an odd response. Only thing that made sense to me was that these guys were LEO of some kind and they were looking for someone. Welp, turns out thats exactly what it was. US marshals looking for a murderer that escaped from prison. Turns out he was hiding in the rentals down the street from us. |
