I wonder how much the lowers will be at next gun show?

you know what, fuck that. I wonder  how it will be to be part of a socilaist state.

hey, maybe we can secede lol...

oh wait, FL ended up being a fucking democrate state. fucking great

Well since everyone is down right now take good news that at least
the senate has not and probably won't hit the 60 mark for a democratic
filibuster proof senate. So if your serious about anti-gun legislation
you will need to go out and write your representatives and hope it doesn't
happen.

The only good news is that both Senators for Kentucky are republicans.

As I sit here and watch the election results, it's clear that our country is divided almost right down the middle. It's also clear that the electoral college needs to go. California is one state of 50, yet their electoral college is 1/5th the needed number to become president. That's crazy. It looks like a landslide in the college but there is barely any margin in the popular vote. Obama is leading, but as of right now there are 67.5 million votes cast and Obama leads by 1.6 million. Can you believe that? About a 2% difference.

Unfortunately, Democrats will think that this is some sort of referendum on their left wing agenda. It's clearly not. The American people are CLEARLY in the center or these races would be landslides. Even the exit polls show that the American people seem to agree on a few major points: lower taxes, more jobs, smaller government, less dependence on foreign oil. The two parties need to work together to fix the "problems" of today instead of generating problems that don't exist. Have you seen how many laws are already on the books? My goodness. There are more laws than anyone can possibly comprehend and yet our elected officials think we need more and more. Land of the free? Hardly.

I'm now watching these, mostly, young people cheering that Obama has been elected president. These poor, naive souls will soon learn the lesson and consequences of their choices. When their taxes are raised after he said he would cut them, what will they do? When other freedoms are trampled on, what will they do? When these young lawyers and doctors that are so "educated" have half of their paychecks taken from them that they worked so hard for, what will they do? Or better yet, when nothing at all "changes" for them, what will they do? Probably nothing, as they are like sheep, aimlessly following someone for reasons they do not know.

Don't get me wrong. Obama "seems" like a great guy. Hell, I'd sit down and have a beer with him and talk sports. But he's the most socialist senator in the Senate and he has no world experience. It remains to be seen whether he will be a great uniter and leader of the free world or the next Castro or Hitler. (Before you guffaw at that, be sure to read up and learn how those people came to power. They preached "change" as well.)

"Change" is now coming and I am scared.

I don't wish the best for him. And thats still legal for now.

And about your "barriers", thats nothing more than diversity at any cost. No barriers were broken tonight. They were simply moved in front of me. Don't count on that ending well.

My goal now is to simply find the best deals I can for ammo, mags, etc., stock up, keep my head low... very low... stay wayyy off radar.  Go to work, come home, range, play Chess, etc.... try and live life while I can.  This mess will erupt on it's own.  I'd rather be ready, but live peacefully while the option is still there.  I hate the thought of having to concentrate through a tricky Queen's Gambit Declined opening while trying to introduce some 55 grain headache medicine to some liberal zombie.

I've got "The Final Countdown" stuck in my head.

Yeah.... I think I'll disconnect now.

Try looking at his voting history...might not be at the top of his list, but you can rest assured it's up there... and Biden.. Boy, don't get me started.

The thought of those two together makes me think of waves washing away sand castles....except it's not sand castles, it's our right to keep and bear arms, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe there's a little blip in there that goes something along the lines of "....SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."

Could be wrong, though.

I am just wondering how SCREWED we are going to be in the military. Clinton tore it down, Bush built it up and now it seems like the coaster could be headed back dooown. Clinton wasnt near as anti-gun as Osama and he raped the gun community. Pretty sure it is going to be high on his agenda to take the guns away from those of us "clinging" onto them. Just read his track record. He wanted to allow cops to raid your home and confiscate all guns in Illinois and make it illegal to defend yourself in your own home. Now he is going to be POTUS. Stock up boys and girls.

About FL gun politics:
We may be starting to take a different direction in terms of gun rights and gun control here in Florida. We're gun freindly but it appears that we have to keep the pressure.
I received a brochure from the Florida Republican party urging me to vote early
and with a Second Amendment pitch.
The brochure depicted a picture of hunters in the front, inside and in the back.
I don't know what the FUCK does hunting has to do with the Second Amendment.
I emailed and called Tallahassee and my local Party office regarding this brochure.

It was our FL Republican Congresswoman one of the sponsors of this years AWB bill.
Not a surprise since she represents the craddle of the Brady campaign in South Florida.
I emailed this lady to death when I heard of her vicious participation on this shit.

I emailed Chairman Bill Bunting after he released his statement regarding the Obama campaign’s decision to hold a Second Amendment rights event in Florida. I emailed him dissenting on his mention about the importance of gun rights to Sportsmen...what the fuck? I'm not a sportsmen...so this should not be important to me?

We're fighting folks from both parties.

If anything the lost will make me stronger to continue the gun control fight.

I've told more than a few people that I believe we will be alive to be a part of the second American Revolution or Civil War.  This man will divide us more than ever before.  I remembered a saying I heard and went and found it.

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.

I fear we just elected our dictator.  We have survived as a great country for over 200 years.  I have a feeling that, in the next few years, the USA will not resemble the USA of today on a map.  There may be two or more countries occupying that space on the map.  Only time will tell.

What I find funny is driving around my county I counted McCain signs in just about EVERY yard, thousands of them, and in TOTAL I say maybe 100 Obama signs, yet they claim Obama won our county...... For every one person I knew voting Obama I knew 15+ voting for McCain, and I know most of the county, and our "voter turnout" was supposedly almost %95, living next to the polling place I can say thats BS, last election with a "turnout" of %70 was almost twice as busy all day than today. I want some answers.

Congress is the problem....It's always has been.
At the sunset of the last AWB scumbag Shumer clearly stated that they didn't even attempted to re-enact the ban because they knew that they didn't have enough votes.

Years later it was at the top of the list of the five Republicans who introduced and sponsored the last AWB bill to Congress HR6257.
