Ever hurt yourself and not notice it until hours later, then cannot remember where/how you did it?  Happens a lot to me.  Latest is a large bruise, the only thing I can think of is loading my pressure washer into my truck, 140+ pounds.

3-1/2" by 3".  Feels like a 2nd degree burn of the same size.  No, I'm not on any blood thinner/anticoagulants.  2 naproxens have helped on the burn.

Happens to me from time to time. Usually cuts or scraped that I don't know about until I go scratch and tear into the scab. Then wonder what the hell I just did to myself.

If you don't have a need for a larger ruler, no point in getting one right?

I keep catching myself asking "where did this blood come from?" when tinkering with projects, even though I should know better by now.

I've always wondered how many times Kalashnikov cut himself on AK receiver-covers....

I'd be less worried about the bruise and more worried that it's glowing...

Happens to me all the time, seems to happen more every year.  Getting old sucks.

Freebie aluminum engineer's scale.  Not a ruler.  Decimal inches.  6 scales, 10-60.

I once cut myself accidentally and didn't notice until *hearing* the blood drops splashing.

(Nothing serious, just a cut from a sharp metal edge, but it bled somewhat freely yet was totally painless at first).

Never did figure out what I cut myself on.

Naproxen has anti-platelet effects.

I'll claim your bike just in case.

Maybe the Walmart receipt checker got a piece of you, as you were carrying the pressure washer out....

First thing I thought of was maybe because of aspirin.

There's been lots of times when I have cuts and bruises and mrs asks me what I did, and I don't know.  Stuff just happens sometimes.

I was looking at Walmart for pressure washers.  Not enough power.

4000 PSI, 4 GPM .  24 cubic inch engine, burns over 1 gallon per hour.  Spalls concrete at close range.  Cuts wood.

I wanted more pressure but that is all they will sell to mere mortals.

This is post 24 hours.  If I had a bleeding condition, it would have formed a massive hema-tomato

This one time I just about sheared off the tip of my finger without realizing it.

There was blood everywhere and I had no clue what the hell had happened. If you have a finger that has already lost feeling from nearly being cut off once before, be sure to keep an eye on where your hand goes. You can't fix stupid

I bought the pressure washer last year.  I move it around a bit, loading it into the truck using ramps.

And no, it wasn't purchased from Home Depot.  Their store selection sucks.  The pump on this one has ceramic pistons, brass manifold and Honda engine with low oil shut down.
