The expert panel’s conclusions, based on a review of reports and an on-site inspection earlier this month, provided a first-ever accounting of structural and design problems that might have caused the spillway to partially collapse on Feb. 7. The consultants described seeing troubling amounts of water flowing from underneath the structure, concrete that was far too thin and dangerous gaps underneath the foundation on which the massive concrete chute sits.

It will give and a lot of property will be destroyed.
After the mess is over (and I mean years of rain will be equally bad), land will be cheap some parts of CA. I expect some parts of Sacramento to be flooded again. In light of all the crazy shit one can find on YouTube, are you honestly (without even a hint of irony) suggesting that they are no-shit censoring videos about a fucking dam in California?
Explain this to me. Somebody posts a video that "exposes the truth" about some aspect of the Oroville Dam disaster. So far so good. Soon though, somebody at YouTube stumbles across it and says "Whoah...this is a little too close to home. We can't possibly let this information become public. Let's pull the video". In the inner workings of your mind, this makes sense to you? Seriously. |
