Maybe, just maybe, this first debate was nothing more than a well executed ambush for Sen. Kerry.

Just a thought.

Watched the news this morning. He's already backpedaling like a dyslexic French cyclist.

I think Corey may be on to something. The more I think about it, I keep getting the mental image of Bush feeding a rope to Kerry with a noose on one end.

"Uranium for Iranians". Sounds like the next RNC ad to me.

Cheney is going to mop the floor with pretty boy Edwards.

Kerry's a good speaker for sure. The problem is, his 20 years of public life completely undermines anything he says, because he's accomplished the remarkable feat of taking every side of just about every issue imaginable. You just can't take anything he says seriously because it's almost guaranteed he said the exact opposite thing a year or two ago. Or on the Iraq War, a day or two ago.

Kerry on Iraq- should have formed a huge unilaterail coalition before doing anything.

Kerry on North Korea- must ignore Japan, Russia, South Korea, and China and only deal with NK one on one.

Great stuff Hun

This would have been a hell of a gut punch if GWB would have responded with this fact to Kerry's cooalition comments . Missed opportunities.

Yes, I'm embarrased for my party. I really do wish we could have come up with a better candidate. Senator Kerry is obviously the wrong choice in this election.

When it comes to making a decision based on what would benefit the country, any level headed Democrat should vote for President Bush.

After this election, I fear my Democratic Party will ebb into history as an organization that cares for nothing more than upholding the slogan, "...anyone but Bush..."

Yeah, I found that interesting. I guess maybe he has some racialist theory behind dealing with asians versus dealing with Europe?

I nominate ETH . New adviser to the Bush staff.

If your too busy, hopefully Cheney will bring it up.

Kerry could have been destroyed by an accomplished debater.

Or even a well-coached mediocre debater.

You know, you're right.

Aren't there two more of these things?

When hypocricy and lies are spoken with confidence and not countered or rebutted during a debate, the ignorant will always believe the confident well spoken lie.

The fence sitters in all this have not been paying attention. Thus they are ignorant. The ignorant will always believe the confident well spoken lie.

You are 100% correct ETH, but you're preaching to the chior. The damage has been done.
