I searched 'prediction' going back two weeks and didn't find anything, so here it is.  Make a prediction that you think will happen in 2016.

Edited posts with an edit date ending in 2016 will invalidate any and all of your predictions and thus cost you fake internet points should you eventually be proven accurate.

#1.  The Tesla Model 3 (available in March) will be the best selling vehicle in North America, defeating the Ford F-150.  They will sell hundreds of thousands of them in the first month of its release alone.

#2.  The beginning of the decline of Apple.  iPhone 7 sales will be weaker than 6 or 6s sales by double digits (in North America/Europe).  Apple stock will continue to fall.  Cook will be replaced as CEO before the end of the year.

#3.  Major terrorist attacks in Europe, Russia and/or Saudi Arabia, but not the USA.  I think that the ISIS fags are going to concentrate on their caliphate more locally and realize that strikes in the US don't immediately help them.

#4.  Russia will ramp-up it's war in Syria to eventually involve Turkey somehow, and ESPECIALLY if it looks like the democrat nominee will win the US general election by midyear.

#5.  Trump's numbers begin to fall after the new year and he withdraws
sometime mid-March to 'refocus on business interests' instead of the
Presidency.

#6.  Cruz wins the Republican nomination.

#7.  Sanders wins the Democrat nomination.

#8.  Cruz loses to President-elect Sanders in the general.

#9.  Even before President-elect Sanders is sworn in, he announces that the first thing he will do will be to institute a 'guaranteed basic income' (mincome) before the end of 2017.

#10.  Canada follows suit and declares that it will also institute a mincome before the end of 2017.

I think that 1-6 are pretty solid.

7-10 is where I kind of went off the rails and took some risks.

Yeah... Bernie Sanders isn't going to be the next president. He's like the Ron Paul of the Democratic Party.

I'd like to believe you, but he is going to slaughter Clinton in the first two states and he's going to gain a ton of momentum.  People like momentum, and I think it might be enough to eventually win the nomination, or at least come damn close.

Plus, there was that university that has correctly predicted elections over the last 100 years or something and they said that Bernie wins, so I'm going with that.

I think you're actually correct on Donald.  He's coming apart after the Trey Gowdy blunder.  He didn't do well in the last debates either.

The low information voters, even with Celebrity Apprentice in a "distant recent memory", will not be able to get over how old he is or how bad his skin looks, in addition to the tantrums.

People with too many feels see him as divisive, when the Nation is more polarized than any can remember. He might make it to May before calling it, after carrying the weight as the front-runner.

Mike Huckabee and Kasich will drop out next quarter, along with Rick Santorum, with parting endorsements and settlements of their campaign funds.

Marco Rubio will eventually get the nomination.  He's young, and even Dem women are in awe with him across generational lines.

Democrat voter base is already in a state of disillusion regarding Hillary's data mining of Bernie's campaign, with no consequences and a spineless response from Bernie.

Holiday consumer purchasing stats will be mediocre at best for 2015 holiday season.

Jobs numbers will be inflated by Obama ministry of information, while real numbers continue to struggle.

As people are forced onto the ACA, the systemic structural problems will cave from massive pressure as employers attempt to dump healthcare costs onto consumers, while stifling wages.

Just when we really needed a recovery to emerge from recession, low interest rates and lack of consumption for energy will start to cause fractures in the market.

As OPEC races to the bottom in oil pricing, the Shale industry will suffer dramatically in 2016, causing a wave of job losses in the energy sector for States in the Midwest.

Russia will focus internally on trying to cope with a falling economy, with many of their regions unable to pay their debts.

Putin's push into Syria makes them even more vulnerable to hemorrhaging, while Ukraine starts to warm up.  Russia faces historic economic challenges that will weaken them further internally and externally.

No.  It's not as uncomplicated as you think.

The democrat candidate who gets to 2,383 delegates gets the nomination at the convention.  There are 4,764 delegates up for grabs via state primary and state caucus.  Then there are 713 superdelegates which are just party members who get to vote on their own.  These are party bosses and players and not the general public.

New Hampshire has 32 and Iowa has 52.

Clinton already has the majority of superdelegates set to vote for her.

1.  Tesla has not even sold 80,000 cars in it's history.  That's the approximate F-150 sales number for December 2014.  So the F150s outsell Tesla's lifetime sales pretty much every month.

2.  Apple sales decline from Q1 to Q4 annually and take a big jump in Q1 again.  There is no decline from year to year.  In fact apple took it's biggest jump again, as always.  2013 was a 10m increase, 2014 was an 11m increase and 2015 was a 25m increase so I don't know what decline you see.  Everyone always predicts apple will fall because it's popular and can't remain so forever.  They haven't peaked yet.  They're still evolving and the product's popularity isn't waning.

3.  I have no idea where the attacks will be in the western world but this one's a wild stab in the dark.  Might as well predict lightning strikes.

4.  The war in the middle east will ramp up because of the involvement of other countries besides Russia and will probably require less effort from Russia.

5.  Trump's decline has been predicted since day 1 and is the one thing that the GOP party bosses jerk off to at night before they go to bed.  So far, there's no sign of anyone but Cruz breaking the 10% mark by much except Trump.  He's pretty much getting the nomination as things stand.

6.  I wish this one was true but Trumps appeal goes beyond people who understand politics and that counts for a lot.

7.  No.  See my last post.

8.  This is where I think you lit the bong.

9.  This is where you decided to lace it with PCP.

10.  I think at this point you had passed out and your cat was typing for you.

My biggest prediction for 2016 is that SJW-ness has only begun and we've so far seen about 5% of its full capacity. Expect everything non-white male to be encouraged and celebrated/mandated to the point of noticeable tears in our society. PC-ness to the absolute maximum will be the new norm.

It'll lead to Ferguson-type unrest in the name of "justice" on a monthly basis for every little perceived injustice no matter how ridiculous and be outright supported by politicians and the media. Expect things like frequent university campus shutdowns due to "injustice" and the crippling of most police departments.

I say 2016 will be the noticeable start of extreme PC killing society. And of course I hope I'm totally wrong.

1: Europe will be engulfed in a three-way insurgency between Leftist Governments, Nationalists and Islamics. Germany will be especially bad.

2: Hillary will not fare as well in the election as many predict. Baggage and a horrible personality will not benefit her.

3: New, better slide mounted Red Dots.

4: EOTech will mail out those refund checks around April.

5: 41P will be implemented and it will suck.

6: More definition-of-AP drama from the BATFE.

7: Drama about the definition of "machine gun" from the BATFE.

8: SpaceX will grown leaps and bounds.

9: Epic gun and ammo sales numbers through October.

10: '16ers will be worse than '13ers... Massive influx of leftist trolls.

11: And most importantly, all of the OPs predictions will be wrong.

I predict that ISIS is allowed to grow and picks on Russia.  Then Russia decides to drop
missiles and troops on the ground to defeat the terrorist group.

As ISIS
leaders flee Syria, Gov. Jerry Brown decides to offer them
sanctuary in the liberal state of California.

ISIS accepts the generous offer and walks across our southern border
to their new home.  California will officially announce its new Sharia
Law where no citizen can offend any Muslim, and all people must wear
burkas.   Chanel and Michael Kors release new trendy burkas in the Paris
fashion show in late 2016.
