If you can see it, the edge of the lense looks rough. This "roughness" appears to sit below the lip that the lense is seated in and it doesn't appear to impact the sight picture.

I'm just curious if this is normal and if anyone else has one that looks like that or if I should contact Trijicon.

As long as it works and stays sealed I wouldn't worry about it.

You should have seen the objective lense on the two ta55a I just received.  Ordered from a well know seller.  Sent the first one back and the replacement has scratches as well.  Sent that one straight to Trijicon.  Normally they are perfect.

I just looked, neither of mine look like that.

Yeah looks like it's touching.

And I don't care about ugly, I can deal with that.

I just wanted to make sure this is not indicative of a potential issue

Yeah I sent Trijicon an email just now I wanted to see what other people had to say and I figured a gun forum would get a general answer quicker.

Thanks to everyone that posted.
