So there's an anti-Chavez (Venezuela) protest going on at my building today. I'm 6 floors up and can clearly hear the chants. It started 20 minutes ago and there's already 2 cop cars here. Apparently it's part of a worldwide protest today. WAG of 100 people here.

Fascism by definition is what the Italians practiced My point is that Mussolini would still have been "a little socialist pinata." There's no need for the distinction. I'm currently reading Albert Speer's diaries from Spandau and it's amazing how Hitler's socialist policies have been swept under the rug. Until I read the book, it wasn't clear to me how central socialism was to Nazism. |

Apparently there're a lot of protesters around the world. CNN International just ran a story on the protests in Colombia (which is just about on the brink of war with Venezuela) and it was funny watching the blonde talking head trying to get the locally based reporter to state that these were "state encouraged" protests and not spontaneous shows of disgust for that puerco maricon. The most the reporter would say is that there were "private groups of individuals" who may have been responsible for some of the protesting. Fucking cunt.
