LE work was once a safe haven from layoffs...no longer
this shit is hitting everyone HARD... ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––- http://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090209/NEWS16/902090333/-1/NEWS14 http://www.officer.com/online/article.jsp?siteSection=1&id=45313 http://www.pe.com/localnews/inland/stories/PE_News_Local_S_webnbudget.29342b9.html http://www.tmcnet.com/usubmit/2009/02/09/3975493.htm |
| Around here, residential burglaries are thru the roof but the cops don't give a shit, they are out generating revenue like whores at a porn convention. Residences getting hit more than once in a span of a few weeks. I shit you not, I have NEVER in my life seen so much speed & traffic enforcement, it's damn near a constant daily encounter on my drive to & from work. Different departments competing for the same turf. I'm sure word came down from the chief to generate income or look for a new career. Solving burglaries doesn't generate income. |

I don't know about everywhere but Toledo is idiot central when it comes to those that run the city, Columbus is working really hard to catch up with them.
The Dem Governor actually has a good head on his shoulders but the local Mayors are freaking out of their minds. Everything is getting cut back and cut out and they still can get it low enough.
I foresee some serious tax increases coming very soon.
