Very nice. Those Iraqi snipers in the photos you provide are REALLY stupid, no?

EDIT - And with that 6th photo, I agree with you.

Dumb question (and building my post # without being accused of trolldom) - how do the insurgents fight in sandals? Running around through broken building materials with floppy shoes doesn't sound like the best way to get from A to B. Better of course that they are gimping around with twisted ankles and easy pickins for our soldiers and Marines, but you'd think it would be pretty obvious after a few faceplants.

One other observation, the first picture shows the lenscap open on the aimpoint and both guys have their fingers on the trigger. Second pic they are both closer to the window, the aimpoint cap is closed, and both fingers are still on the triggers. Don't most of the pics show fingers off the triggers, so maybe this one is in medias res?

Camo faces + white gloves....strange to say the least...

The Aimpoint is fully functional with the front lense cover closed or covered by say mud or something. His off side eye is open and the two images converge into one for a perfect sight picture. Could be due to shooting in a dark room into a bright area. You'll have a very bright dot like this but it's only a guess.

Old boy in the front is carrying a barret with one hand? (hope it's on a sling for his sake).

The far right rear, I thought I saw an ARMS SIR forend with some sort of y-comp on it.

Kinda feels like playing "Where's Waldo"

I shot an MG42 once. Slighty more accurate than bump fire, but still cool as hell.

It is on a sling. Look near the end of the forend. Looks like paracord, or even wiring serving as the front attachment point for the sling.

OK, so the guy with the .50 has a shoe string tied to a sardine can twist key with the twist key through a loop on his vest ? I guess it matches his gloves ?

Can someone check me on this ?

There is a sling strap going over his shoulder next to his neck.

I think that in the 6th pic, the guy just seems to know more about what he is doing. No silly white turban on his head to shoot at, no flashy clothes, just drab earth tones. And I think IIRC that this is the first Iraqi I have seen using web equipment.

He just seems more militarily savy than his comrades.

did anybody notice the ARMS SIR on one AR-15 in the Phillipines picture? It's towards the right rear.

So he's a little more savy. I say all the more reason to kill him with extreme prejudice.
