T1 size and specs but with larger objective and fov.

I caught a glimpse of it on the optics forum, but the topic was removed/nuked from orbit.

My guess it was info that was released too early and Trijicon said no-no.

Anyone else see it?

Fugly little thing.  I predict another flop...a la SRS.  Stick to making new & improved ACOGs and RMRs.  Leave the aimpoints to aimpoint.

As much as I hate it when people advertise "Aircraft-Grade Aluminum", it looks like a nice optic.

Looks good.  Although they need to make a fiber optic/tritium version, then I'd really be interested.

Makes me wonder what aircraft, and which part of it. I've got 2 blends and 4 tempers just on the Gulfstream 550 wing.

I don't think so. I was thinking on a T-2 and now I want to hear more on this. People are always buying new optics.

5 years is what's on the spec sheet, rumor has it $500ish is the msrp, but that seems low for retail, street price maybe.

In their defense, the T1 is ugly as shit as well.

Of course, not that aesthetics matter a damn when it comes to functionality, reliability, and durability, but really, Aimpoint T1s look hideous on top of just about any firearm.

The SRS was a nice optic, it's just too big, heavy, and expensive.

Tag for answer.  Looks interesting, but I'm not sure what advantages it would have over my T-2.

They should really add the recoil lug slot the T1 has so it's compatible with the same mounts.

One lens cap at best.  And things are most likely to brush against it from the side which is more likely to spin that rheostat than one mounted against the side.

Just my opinion, but for a CQB sight 1 click to turn it off from any setting makes it more likely to mind fuck you by surprise when you expect a dot to be "in there somewhere" when a threat materializes.  Reorienting your brain to a ghost ring or instinctive technique could cost threat focus and a fatal second when you have to recognize there is no dot first.

I like the larger objective on the MRO versus the T2. I would consider buying it, as I don't have a small RDS.  I just hope it's not ONE BILLION DOLLARS.
