I said that 37% of Americans can be described as Moderate to Hard Leftists.
Seriously, there are significant amount of people mad at the Democratic Party not for doing too much, or doing it poorly, but for not doing enough to transform the US toward their vision of a Euro-Socialist state. These people believe that the Democratic majorities were a mandate for second New Deal. Even Health Care Reform, Cap and Trade, and the myriad of other initiatives didn't far enough. They wanted a radical reconstruction. I'd say these folks are angry, but are still on board with Obama. |

It could reach 0% and I'm not sure it would matter. 50% would disapprove because he's too far left and the other 50% would disapprove because he's too far to the right for their taste.

Rasmussen still has him at 47%, Zogby has him at 44%, and Gallup at 43%. 37% sound great, but it seems awfully low to be real.
