I'm really hoping this one turns out to be almost as good as Deadwood.
The first episode was similar in that so many characters were introduced you need to watch it a second time to get a real sense of who is who and what is going on. I've already set the DVR to record the entire series!

I like it, they paid a lot of attention to detail. The clothes, uniforms, and the dirty environment. The nice perky nipples are a plus.

Best entertainment for your dollar are the HBO mini series. Sopranos Oz Wire Deadwood Some people like Carnivale and Six feet under but both of them are too weird for me. |

A man of learning unfamiliar with the common Latin name 'Gaius'? For shame! But I agree, HBO miniseries tend to be outstanding. I just wait for them to come out on DVD; cheaper to pick and choose which series I want that way then to pay the extra for HBO. Besides, my Tivo is getting beaten to a pulp keeping up with SG1/Atlantis/BSG.

I tried getting 'into' OZ a couple of times but couldn't help thinking the characters were 'liking' it too much.....    And as far as the drinking game for 'Deadwood' that would be a great idea!!! Deadwood is my favorite, I can't wait for the new season.. Any idea when it starts???? |
