| So I did one of those network channel scans and one of my neighbors was on the same channel as me (channel 1). I changed my router (Nighthawk R7000) to channel 11, and did the scan again. Neighbors channel changed to 11 as well. Basically whatever I change mine to, it's somehow changing the neighbors as well to the same channel. Our mac addresses are also very similar. Does this occur in networking and how can I get my own channel? |
