Howdy folks!..
Was wondering if someone here could help me. I am not a photo guru but I have been told that there is software that can "decode" the information in photos. I need to know, if I were to give someone here some links to images on the web if they could then take the images and "go through" them to determine if they were the "same" image..or taken by the same camera and so forth. IM me and let me know if you can do this, I will send a list of links to pull the photos from. thanks.. |

Reading the metadata tags in the EXIF data is easily done but isn't conclusive as it can be modified or many times it's been completely stripped from the image file.
Windows is capable of showing you the basic EXIF data of an image file you've downloaded. >right click >Properties >Summary-advanced There are plugs in like EXIF Viewer for Firefox that will show you the same information for images that are on a webpage. EXIF Primer |
