[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help identifying object

I have this in my storage unit and do not know what it is. Maybe someone else has seen it before. For what weapon? Brand? Anything

Its the picatinny rail for the M249 SAW. See the rectangular hole next to B26? Thats where the bipods latch in. But it looks like you only have the right side, considering its 2 pieces.

Thanks to the OP for asking, and 03301C, I learned something today.

I now know what a M249 SAW rail looks like, and what 1/2 of a M249 SAW rail looks like, and that it comes in two pieces.

Not a huge deal, but it's better than being slapped across the belly with a wet fish.

Wow the order of these posts got really F'ed up when it got moved.
OP: I have seen them sell for 100+ with the both pieces, but with only the right side. Maybe $50. MSRP is something upwards of $200 though.
