When you use the print screen on the key board where does the picture of the screen go??

To memory and what is  called the clipboard.. Advise would be to paste into a image ap. then copy something smaller to free up ram

The clip board!!

Open a new powerpoint or word document and you can right click and then paste the image for emailing, printing, etc.

"Print screen" copies what the monitor is showing you , at the moment you hit the button.

It's just like when you left click and drag your mouse cursor across some text in a document or webpage, and then hit the right button of your mouse, and a list pops up. If you select "copy", that blocked text will be copied to the Random Access Memory of the computer.

You can then paste that copied information into another document.
