| This is a repost here since no one seems to be answering in the other forum and this gets more traffic. I'm looking to get e decent camera for no more the maybe $150. I just need it to take general pictures. I take pictures of mostly car stuff when I'm restoring something and want to remember how it goes together or when I go to a car show and see something I like and want to remember a vendor or what it was. I don't usually take up close stuff like flowers or the roll mark on my AR. I just want to be able to take some nice photos without breaking the bank. |

Check out this site: Steve's Digi-Cam Reviews
This guy is pretty renowned for his digital camera reviews. I always check his site out before I buy a camera and have been for a few years now. Very in depth with actual testing done by using it instead of GD conjecture. ETA: Canon usually rates at or near the top for a point and shoot. I have an A510 that I have had for a few years now and it just keeps on ticking and takes stunning pictures. |
