HELP!

I am in search of a set of Metric Drill Bit set (1mm to 13mm .5mm increments).

I have to been to all the home improvment centers, auto parts/tool dealers in my area. I tried to call some of the machine tool dealers, but being Saturday, all closed.

I did a search on the net, looks like any home improvment store in Europe has them, but in the USA?!?!?! Nope.

Everyone I asked just looked at me like I was an idiot, until I pointed out that we are the only country that still uses fractional bits. If you have an import (and now a good deal of domestic) auto, you are dealing with metric. If you want to tap a hole for a metric bolt it is easier to grab a metric drill bit, instead of doing the conversion and end up with a sloopy tap.

Any suggestions? Or am I a complete asshole for wanting metric drill bits?
