Been thinking about moving on job wise. I get paid squat, lousy vacation and benefits, I'm capable of much more than I'm doing but it's not a large business really(50 employees). I am a supervisor for a utility locating company contracted by the local electric company. At 31 years old things are not moving fast enough to keep up with my expanding financial expectations. Also I'd like to get away from SE Pennsylvania. Everything is expensive here and for a guy who likes to hunt/shoot and fish it really blows. I dropped out of college but have 2 years worth invested. Computer literate in all the basic office applications and do a bang up job of managing if I do say so myself. What can I expect? |

maybe consider moving to central pa and picking up a university job. cost of living is very low. its an energetic town with lots of young people. tons of hunting, fishing, and outdoor stuff just minutes away. rapidly growing area with decent jobs. if you get a university position, you could work and get a 75% reduction on tuition if youd want to finish your degree. let me know if you are interested in further details. i can send you links to job listings and such. |
