OK, So I hear a lot of parents of kids that are killed in the war go on TV and Bash "Bushes oil War". It kinda pisses me off, since I am sure that probably 98% of those who have lost their lives were very much for what they were doing in Iraq.
Solution? How about a web site something like "www.respectmymemory.org" that has a short statement regarding the service members support of the war on terror and or Iraq. We could start by E mailing a link to some of my fellow troops, and it would snowball from there. The troops then click on a button saying they agree with the statement, and submit some info on a form. THe site would then be updated to add their names to the list of troops who agree with what they are doing.
If for some reason, the troop is KIA, then they have a legacy in the web site that states they did support the war, and it could be used to counter some grieving, 60s hippie parent that is trying to use their kids death as an Anti War message.
Thoughts? I need some help setting this up. Let me know if you can donate server space and help.
