| I re upped last month for 6 more years, and was told that I can only get a 5000 bonus, I received a memo from my 1st sgt saying that under the new policy fy 2011 that started in march 29 that the bonus is 15000 for 6 years. Are there any retention NCOs around here that can tell me if I can get the 15 grand or am I stuck with the 5 grand? |

I wish you luck in getting a bonus, but from what I hear the $ amounts are going way down. |

Im going with one of three units, dunno when Im mob'ing either, from what Ive heard Ill be with a Texas Guard unit attached to the Pennsylvania Guard who is supporting the Arizona Guard in Afghanistan early next year. Makes sense. |

Makes sense. we were told we were going to be getting a brigade battlespace early next year because we're the only state that hasn't deployed at a level higher than Battalion in the 10 years of the GWOT, instead looks like the 37th IBCT from Ohio (on their third deployment) will be taking it. |
