Mixed Drinks: Good St. Patty's Day drink. Now we have the "IRA Car Bomb". At a really good party, after you start drinking them, the name will really offend somebody, and a fight will break out over it. Good times. Half pint or so of Guinness. Pour it right, or you get kneecapped. It's a harsh rule, but it keeps the bartender in line. 1/2 a shot of Jameson's. Now the next part takes speed and skill, two things which after a couple will be things you will be lacking. QUICKLY fill the rest of the shot with Baileys Irish Cream, drop the shot in the Guinness, and drink the whole damn thing as fast as you can. Gotta be fast or the Bailey's will curdle. Some people fiddle with the amounts of Jameson's and Bailey's. A shot of each poured right in in that order, etc. Don't worry about the Guinness being heavy, as the whiskey makes it "lighter". But for God's sake, make it fast and drink it fast. We do 'em while singing rebel songs. *edit: Oh yeah, if you drop the shot glass in, mind your teeth. |

Mackison Triple Stout. Guiness can be a little thin sometimes. Tulimore Dew Irish Whisky NEAT. Please no water in my jar, it should always remain in a seperate glass nearby if needed, for the wee ones and the lasses. And of course British Columbia's finest, whenever available. |
