I gotta say that I doubt it will happen..
Not in NYC. That cesspool has to have more Bush haters per capita than anywhere but the west Bay area. Since that's Air America's only purpose in life....I mean...c'mon. |

I actually used to listen to the “Morning Sedition” show, I found it funny and entertaining. They saw fit to cancel that show and put some dry ball lezbo chick on that could suck the life out of anyone in less than 1 minute. I hope Franken loses his shirt in this deal. He is such a prick. I will never forget listening the day after the election, you would think that UPS has just ran over their dog. It was great, calling for a revolution and all.

It really was almost that bad. I had it on Sirius but could not listen for more than a few minutes. The conservative radio stations weren't much better (substitute Clinton for Bush in the above except that they did have NRA radio. Did those orphans in the Bronx, or whereever, ever get their money back from Air America? |

I think in their quest to take on conservative talk radio, they simply made one fatal mistake. They overestimated their demographics. Apart from the real lefty types, I have a feeling that most "democrats" vote that way because that's what they think they are supposed to do. Since democrats are cool and republicans are a bunch of greedy old geezers. They probably knew that there wasn't much of a market, but pushed forward anyway in a "build it and they will come" sort of fashion. They took a huge risk, the odds were not in their favor, and they are now realizing the mistake.
Like good little liberals, they will, of course, refuse to believe that no one really listens to Air America. They will come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories about how the broadcasting corporations have it in for them(cause corporations are evil), or Rove/Bush/Cheny/Halliburton are suppressing them, or some other crckpot, tinfoil hat scenarios. One more step towards the total self destruction of the Democratic party. I can't wait! |

Some people spend long hours driving to and from work (I know those who spend 2 hours each way driving to work), and some people are allowed to listen to the radio while they are working. Radio still has plenty of people as a potential audiance. Think about all the truckers out there, a whole bunch of them have sat radio I bet.
