This is an overblown title. The proposed law is not intentionally directed against American flags. It's a general restriction on banners and signage. Many communities in affluent areas have them to prevent huge gaudy signs and wacky waving arm inflatable tube men in historic business districts. I'm sure the flag issue was an oversight that will be addressed. |
