Hey pig.

I lost my shit because of you. And I don't care any more. That song still gives me chills. Top 10 band of all time. No question.

There was an obscure import called "Welcome to the Hate Machine" by "The Screws"...I had it...realized it was a spoof thing and got rid of it....and never saw it again. Have never been able to find it anywhere....its like it never existed

I was a pretty die-hard fan through "The Fragile" after that I just stopped keeping up.
"Fixed" and "Further Down The Spiral" will always have a special place in my heart...formative years and some great remixes.

Another one we listened to during the keggers, often killed a few, then went looking for more.

I knew the nights were special, but wow, we did dumb things thinking back on it. The debauchery

After seeing this thread I decided I need to listen to some of my old remixes...damn what I would give to get away from my life for a few days and go back to 1990

Still laugh at all the hipsters who think NIN ripped off Johnny Cash's "Hurt"

As much as a NIN fan I am, I will say Cash's "Hurt" is better, but these hipster fucks have no clue most of the time...

Saw them in Cleveland. 1991 I think. Got the keyboard and went backstage after the show. Don't remember much. Car was in a garage that was closed. Sucked and awesome at the same time. Been to many concerts since that small show of a few hundred people.

Loa was a sound all its own that sparked techno genre. Saw them both many times. Wild shows. Absolutely wild.

The timing was pretty interesting also.  Some people might disagree but I think it was one of the first alternative electronic albums to reach large scale crossover success. You didn't even have the pearl jam and nirvana juggernauts yet, which still aren't alternative.

Agree. Nitzer Ebb came close but not near the popularity of that album. I bought it the day it was released after seeing down in it video. Not to mention the recording is great. All of is stuff is recorded really well. Seems he really liked sound quality. Think he did a good amount of his own mixing. Not sure.
