Cool. And he has the best name ever, with Captain Munnerlyn  not being far behind.

I Googled "nfl shoe fine" and they had enough sense to not fine those wearing 9/11 cleats but others got dinged for $6000-18000 depending upon the crime of wearing Kanye West sneakers or having some guy's name written on them.

If they did fine him $x,xxx I'm sure he would then pay it,the NFL would give $x,xxx to a police charity and he would match it. If it was $8,000,for a guy making $8 million per year it's a parking ticket and school field trip fee,no big deal.

This.  If Kapernick hates America so much, he is most certainly welcome to leave.   I'm sure there's another country in the world that will be happy to pay him millions to play a kid's game.

With the NAACP calling for a boycott of the NFL in support of Kaepernick, it's good to see players doing the opposite and respecting America and law enforcement. I'll try to tune in for the next Packers game.

I read somewhere they are going to loosen the restrictions on custom cleats.

Regardless it's nice to see someone support a view different from what we've seen out of the NFL recently.

I also hope he blitzes Kaepernick's balls off. If K can even find a job besides selling t-shirts.

Roll Pack!!!

Saw him last week at practice.  We had "inside the fence access" via my buddy.

He seemed like a down to earth guy.  Animated and polite as well when he interacted with trainers/support people.

Nice move by the young man.  It's a refreshing change from the BS we hear about the NFL and athletes in general these days.  Hopefully this will get more airtime than Kaeperdick.  (Not holding my breath)

He tweeted, "Added two more angels to my cleats" and looks like there's another name on the back of his left cleat.

Makes me wonder if he's already been doing this, but since the season is just ramping up did he do it last season?

That's just it; about 99% of fans support these memorial recognitions.
It's the NFL bigwigs who insist on squashing it.

No but he had a grandfather that was a male influence in his life. Guy is unique. Interested in criminal justice and dispelling the idea that cops are out to get low income minorities.

Kid had every chance to be another example of guys blaming others for their particular circumstances. One of the best role models to come out of Saban's tenure.
