I agree. Fly the flag of the United States of America. Fly it right side up and proudly. Because that flag represents freedom and the Constitution. Fly it for as long as we can. When we take it down, we've surrendered, the war is over, and freedom has lost. I fly the flag (with a Gadsden below it) everyday as a reminder to myself, and a message to the FSA, that freedom is something they cannot take from me, only I can give it up. While I sport a Gadsden on my truck, they can write it off as a sign of "those nut job tea party people" It doesn't embarass and ashame them as much in their heart of hearts as Old Glory does for all of the abuses, crimes and inequities that have happened under it in their world. |

Fuck that. Our American flag was bought and paid for with the blood, sweat and sacrifice of many generations of Americans. Why the Cut and Run Bunch™ suddenly loses respect for the American flag is beyond my comprehension. Perhaps you should go back and re-read American history. I might add that everyone here was up in arms 4+ years ago when Obama refused to put his hand over his heard during the National Anthem. Its not HIS flag. It is OUR flag. Get over your butthurt, petulant self. |
