I went up there to find some .40 for a friend and they had 1800 rounds of Winchester white box in stock. And they had a ton of Tula ammo of all calibers in the case but had the bulk of it in .223 Tula ain't my favorite but it can work in a pinch.
Oh well we will find out tomorrow of it will run in my rifle. If it does I will go back and buy more of it. If it doesn't then it's time for a .223 bolt gun. 
And before anyone else says it. COOL STORY BRO

Maybe it's because I'm in DFW, but I went to 5 different Wal-Marts early one day last week and they had nothing in 9mm/5.56. They had a half decent amount of .40 and .45 though

Contrary to idiot opinion, the same ones that say airplanes wont take off on a treadmill and pulling the trigger on a Glock is like releasing the spoon on a grenade, the steel cased Russian ammo works fine in ninety five percent of all AR's. It s a bit dirty because steel doesn't stretch and not extremely accurate, but it'll go bang. And it WILL NOT HURT YOUR GUN. Also it won't deposit lacquer in your chamber. Refer back to idiots on both points. I can't think of a class or tactical shoot where afterwards there wasn't an Andre the Giant sized pile of steel cases laying everywhere. |
