My dad and I went to the farm, where my grandparents, uncle, and his family live. 2-23 Is a pretty cool date to have a birthday, hehe. There was a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet thing that night so we went to that. The buffet was good, steak, chicken, green beans, rolls, yummy. We bid on some of the stuff and ended up getting a Leupold 3.5-14x40 for $350 in the live auction, which went on my AR-15 Sunday. That scope is REALLY nice. I can't wait to go to the range and shoot it. We kind of sighted it in by shooting out the side of the car... but you can only get so accurate out of a car on a windy day. My dad also picked up a Terry Redlin print. I also got a new Magellan Map 330 GPS, which is also way cool. It came with a little certificate to get the map software, so I'm going to have to get that. Anyway, sorry for the long post, just wanted to relate my way cool weekend to you guys.
