I need a program that will search my computer and put all of my music into one file. prefer a free program. i have a ton of music on my computer and half of it i don't know where it is. like to put them in one area so i don't have to jump around to find them to upload them to an mp3 player. thanks |
start -> search -> type in *.mp3 in the search bar, which will find all mp3 files. If you have other file formats such as wmv, avi, etc. you can always type *.<insert format you are looking for> to find all files of that format |
One "file" or one folder? If you mean folder, what I did, while not the easiest thing, was opened windows media, let it create its library, and then looked at the file locations shown, and moved those manually. Don't know of any program to automatically do this. If you mean file, I have no idea. I also don't know why you would want to do this. |
